1. Participation in the event and agreement with the rules

The event is intended exclusively for persons over 18 years of age. By entering the event premises, each person without exception confirms that they have familiarized themselves with these Visitor Rules and agree with them. These rules are binding for all participants of the event, regardless of how they obtained the ticket and regardless of whether they were the original purchaser. The current version of the rules is available on the organizer’s website and at the entrance to the venue.

2. Ticket and identification wristband

Each participant will receive an identification wristband on their wrist, which entitles them to enter the event premises and replaces the ticket. Lost, unused or destroyed tickets or wristbands will not be replaced. The wristband is a valuable item and its forgery or alteration is prohibited. Once removed from the wrist, the wristband becomes invalid.

3. Security check at the entrance

Upon entering the premises, each participant undergoes a security check carried out by the event staff. The check consists of a visual inspection of bags and carried items. If the participant refuses the check, they will not be allowed to enter the premises and are not entitled to a refund.

4. Sanctions for violation of the rules

A participant who violates these Visitor Rules or whose behavior endangers the safety of the event, other persons or property may be removed from the premises by the event staff without entitlement to a refund. The identification wristband may be confiscated.

5. Event staff

Event staff means persons who, on behalf of the organizer, ensure the safety and operation of the event and are marked with SECURITY or STAFF on their clothing or accreditation. Participants are obliged to follow the instructions of these persons as well as the instructions of the police, firefighters and emergency medical services.

6. Prohibition of bringing items into the premises

It is prohibited to bring into the event premises:

Weapons of any kind, as well as all items that can be used as cutting, striking or stabbing weapons.Sprays, corrosive, flammable, coloring substances or other containers with substances affecting health.Glass bottles, PET bottles, cups, jugs, cans, tins or other objects made of breakable, shattering or exceptionally hard material.Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs and other pyrotechnic items including launching devices.Alcoholic beverages and other addictive, narcotic or psychotropic substances of any kind.Suitcases, large bags, umbrellas.Cameras with interchangeable lenses and video cameras. Taking photos and videos with professional equipment is allowed only for pre-accredited photographers. Participants may take photos only with mobile phones or compact cameras.

8. Prohibited activities in the premises

In the event premises it is further prohibited to:

Take glasses with drinks purchased inside the premises outside the venue.Climb or climb over structures and equipment in the event area, especially facades, fences, walls, barriers, stairs and other constructions.Use narcotic, addictive, toxic and psychotropic substances.Enter with dogs or other animals except guide dogs for visually impaired persons.Enter areas not permitted to participants (e.g. backstage, performer areas, technical facilities).Handle open fire, light or launch fireworks or flares. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.Throw objects or liquids onto the production area (DJ booth, stage) or at other participants.Enter the premises on motorcycles, bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, animals, etc.Spread false alarms or cause panic.Damage, write on, stick or paint on equipment, facilities, walls or corridors in the premises.Perform bodily needs outside designated areas (toilets inside the premises).Distribute or place any advertising or promotional materials in the premises or carry out marketing activities without organizer permission.Intentionally cover your face to prevent identification (balaclava, scarf over face, etc.).

9. Obligations of the participant

The participant is obliged to:

Comply with these Visitor Rules and follow the instructions of the organizer and event staff (SECURITY/STAFF), as well as the instructions of the police, firefighters and emergency medical services, and comply with the laws of the Czech Republic.Wear the identification wristband properly fastened and undamaged on the wrist throughout their stay and present it for inspection upon request. If the participant is not the holder of the wristband during inspection, they must purchase one or immediately leave the premises.Behave in a way that does not endanger the safety of other persons or their property, or the facilities in the premises, and does not restrict or disturb other participants.Maintain cleanliness and order and refrain from any activity that endangers health or property of participants and performers.Report to the organizer or event staff any detected defect that may cause damage to the health of persons or property.In case of injury or other emergency situation, immediately notify an authorized person marked SECURITY/STAFF.Move carefully within the premises, avoid injury and move only in areas designated for participants.

10. Safety and liability of the participant

Participation in the event is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk. The participant acknowledges that the event takes place in an environment with high noise levels, lighting effects and a high concentration of people and must adjust their behavior accordingly.

The participant is obliged to assess their health condition and current ability to participate. The organizer is not liable for damage to health or property arising from the participant’s health condition, their own actions, inattention, underestimation of risks or failure to comply with these Visitor Rules and instructions of the event staff.

The organizer is not liable for damage to health or property resulting from intoxication by alcohol, narcotic, psychotropic or addictive substances or actions under their influence. Consumption of such substances is prohibited in the premises (see point 8) and any violation is at the participant’s own risk.

Medical services are available on site. The participant is obliged to report any injury or deterioration of health (their own or another person’s) to the nearest member of the event staff (SECURITY/STAFF) or directly to medical personnel.

The participant is responsible for damage caused to equipment and facilities, technical equipment of the event or property of other persons. The extent and amount of damage will be determined based on assessment, expert evaluation or repair costs. The participant has the right to comment on the assessment and is obliged to pay the damage in full.

The organizer is not liable for damage to property or health unless caused by a breach of legal obligations on the part of the organizer directly connected to such breach.

11. Photography, video recording, personal data protection

Photographs, audio and video recordings are taken at the event. These recordings may be used for journalistic, artistic and promotional purposes in accordance with § 84–90 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code.

For promotional and marketing purposes, the organizer processes personal data of participants (especially their likeness) in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the organizer’s website www.blackoutevents.cz.

The participant has the right to object to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes. To exercise this right, they should contact the organizer using the contact details on the website.

12. Rights of the organizer

The organizer is entitled to:

Remove a participant from the premises in case of violation of these Visitor Rules, threat to safety of the event or other persons, or other serious operational reasons, without entitlement to a refund.Conduct visual inspections of bags and items through event staff.Give instructions to ensure safe conduct of the event, protection of participants’ health and property.Change the event program in case of unexpected circumstances, including early termination of the event.

13. Final provisions

These Visitor Rules are valid and effective for all visitors of the event. Matters not regulated by these rules shall be governed by the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy published on the organizer’s website www.cube-events.cz

These Visitor Rules are prepared in accordance with Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, and other generally binding legal regulations of the Czech Republic.
